Neodolatelný lamač ženských srdcí Austin Powers (Mike Myers) se vrací už potřetí. Tentokrát však bude jeho poslání ještě těžší, než v předchozích dvou dílech. Doktor Evil si totiž pro své zákeřné světovládné plány našel silného společníka, arcilotra a ničeho se neštítícího gaunera Goldmembera. Jejich společná akce na sebe nenechá dlouho čekat. Podniknou cestu časem a unesou Austinova otce Nigela Powerse, jednoho z nejrafinovanějších špiónů, jakého měla kdy Anglie k dispozici. Austin neváhá ani minutu a vrhá se do roku 1975, aby společně s lovkyní gaunerů Foxy Kleopatrou (Beyoncé Knowles) osvobodil svého otce. A otázkou zůstává, zda se podaří i tentokrát supersvůdnému superšpiónovi nepadnout do sítí lásky a naopak chytit své protivníky do sítí zákona…
