Zatopená krypta opuštěného kostela slouží dvěma mladičkým přítelkyním, Lucy a Cindy, jako místo dokazování si dospělosti, ale brzy se stane prostorem i pro iniciační rituál dospělosti celého jejich provinciálního rodiště Allburgu. Na dně krypty totiž odpočívá falešný kněz i jeho dětské oběti. Ne však na dlouho.
