Americká kriminálna miniséria. Predmestie Maina Line sa vyznačuje starou zástavbou koloniálnej histórie so silným nádychom gotiky. Okrem domov a fariem je aj sídlom slávnej univerzity. A presne tu, 25. júna 1979, našli nahé telo stredoškolskej učiteľky Susan Reinertovej v jej aute na hotelovom parkovisku. Jej dve deti polícia nikdy nenašla. Prípad z Maine Lane sa okamžite dostal na titulky médií, ale trvalo sedem rokov, kým ho vyriešili. Prípad šokoval celé USA a zničil stredostavovskú atmosféru dovtedy pokojného predmestia Philadelphie.
