Fiktivní dokumentární film zachycuje snahu dvou mladých filmařů natočit život přeživších obyvatel San Francisca dvanáct let po morové epidemii, která vyhladila většinu populace planety Země. Skrze rozhovory s členy místní komunity se divákům snaží přiblížit lidský život po apokalypse od návodů na přežití, přes problémy uvnitř komunity, obstarávání nedostatkového zboží, až po útoky rabujících banditů.
