Mysteriózní vědecko-fantastický animovaný film se odehrává ve světě plném železných parou poháněných vzducholodí. Lidé zde umírají, protože svět zachvátil mor. Hlavní postavou příběhu je letecký navigátor jménem Jasper Morello. Ten se spolu s posádkou na vzducholodi vydává na strastiplnou a nebezpečnou cestu. Úkolem výpravy je dostat se na ostrov, na kterém žijí děsivé příšery, které by mohly být lékem na onen mor.
