Kdesi na americkém venkově se ocitla početná skupina židů – zombies. Ti vznikli při nacistických experimentech za druhé světové války. Nejdříve zabijí místního policistu, který se stane jedním z nich. Následně se vypraví do osamoceného domu, kde v poklidu večeří čtyřčlenná rodinka. Všichni jsou z útoku nemrtvých zaskočeni a situace se nevyvíjí moc dobře. Zlom však nastane, když jim na pomoc přijede drsňák na traktoru John Deer. Ten má se zabíjením židovských zombies četné zkušenosti, takže se díky jeho fintám začne brzy situace zlepšovat. Zdaleka však ještě nemají vyhráno a je jasné, že z toho zamořeného místa nevyváznou živí všichni.
