Ve výzkumné laboratoři kdesi uprostřed hor jsou prováděny pokusy na zvířatech. Jednoho večera se dvěma psiskům podaří utéct na svobodu. Zpočátku se to zdá jako výhra, ta se ovšem brzy změní v holý boj o přežití v divočině. Obzvlášť když se mezi lidmi objevují zvěsti, že psi možná mohou být nakaženi morem.
