K Ashi, Dawn a Brockovi se připlete roztomilý Pokémon Shaymin, který nevědomky zhatil Giratině, strážkyni Opačného světa, plán pomstít se Dialze. Shaymin se potřebuje dostat do Květinové zahrady na slavnosti za svými druhy, kteří odtamtud odlétají. Jenže to netuší, že po něm jde Zero, který ho potřebuje jako vstupenku do Opačného světa…V pořadí jedenáctý film Pokémon je druhým dílem filmové "trilogie" o legendách regionu Sinnoh, ale jednotlivé filmy se dějově prolínají jen lehce.
