Dvanásťročnému chlapcovi práve sňali v nemocnici sadru zo zlomenej ruky. Vzápätí sa ukáže, že ruka sa zrástla tak šikovne, že sa jeho bejzbalový nadhod takmer nedá chytať. To, samozrejme, využije prvý podnikavec, ktorý sa ocitne v dohľade. Je ním, priateľ jeho pôvabnej mamy. Vyhlási sa za jeho manažéra a začne pracovať na jeho kariére.
