Tři ženy, které se navzájem neznají, se sejdou v obchodě s oblečením. Jedna z nich (Christine M.) je přistižena majitelem obchodu při krádeži. Společně se zbylými dvěma ženami (Annou a Annie) majitele obchodu napadnou a zabijí. Soudce si při projednávání případu vyžádá posudek od psychiatričky, která dojde k překvapivým závěrům. Film je považován za jedno z vrcholných děl feministické kinematografie, v roce 1982 získal hlavní cenu na festivalu ženských filmů ve francouzském Créteil a dodnes se na festivalech promítá.
