Dennis Ryan a Eddie O'Brien jsou hráči baseballového týmu Wolves z Floridy, kteří v herní přestávce objíždí americká města se svým tanečním turné. Nová sezóna už ale začíná, a tak se oba musí vrátit ke svému klubu. Trenér má však pro všechny nedobrou novinu – podle závěti bývalého majitele celý klub přechází do vlastnictví jakéhosi neznámého K. C. Higginse. Hráči se bouří a začínají vymýšlet, jak by se nezvaného floutka co nejrychleji zbavili. Jenomže ze zkratky K. C. se nakonec vyklube Katherine Catherine a nová majitelka Miss Higgins je k tomu po čertech hezká a nezadaná. Sezóna startuje!
