Do party nadšených malých filatelistů se vetřel chytrák s jedinečným obchodním talentem i schopností kdekoho pěkně vypéct. Jmenuje se Tom a právě se mu povedlo obalamutit kamaráda Randolpha. Randolph z toho má těžkou hlavu, protože známka, kterou vyměnil za bezcenné album, patřila jeho otci. Na Randolpha se vzápětí usměje sběratelské štěstí – přihraje mu vzácné album s tajuplným odkazem dávného majitele. Kluk se ocitá na poštovní známce na cestě do Austrálie. Vykuk Tom ovšem nelení a okamžitě se do celé záležitosti zaplete.
