TT3D: Closer to the Edge je film o legendárním závodě Tourist Trophy na ostrově Isle of Man, který každoročně mění tento malý ostrov na ráj fanoušků silničních motocyklových závodů.Závody se zde jezdí po uzavřených veřejných komunikacích, které jsou vždy obklopeny diváky ze všech koutů světa. Jezdci zde doslova létají rychlostí přes 300km/h. Jen málokterý ročník se obejde bez zranění nebo úmrtí nějakého jezdce. Jezdci si nebezpečí uvědomují, přesto se každý rok vracejí s odhodláním posunout hranice možností zase trochu dál a stát se "Králem hory".
