Robert Cunningham je bohatý podnikatel, bohužel předčasně zemřel a jelikož nemá žádné příbuzné, rozhodl se rozdělit veškerý majetek mezi svých pět milenek. Přál si však také, aby k sobě necítily žádnou nenávist a naučily se spolupracovat, proto své jmění pohřbil do truhly na dno oceánu a každé zanechal právě jeden klíč, potřebný k otevření jednoho z pěti zámků. Dívky předčily veškerá očekávání a spolupracovaly tak, jak se Robertu Cunninghamovi nezdálo ani v jeho nejdivočejších snech.
