Podle knižního bestselleru Jacqueline Susann vznikl tento film pojednávající o trojici mladých dívek, snažících se prosadit ve světě šoubiznysu se svou dívčí kapelou. Sledujeme jejich cestu ke slávě lemovanou množstvím intrik, pomluv a přetvářek. Po tom co se dívkám podaří dostat na vrchol popularity, odstávají se do víru nikdy nekončících večírků a hlavně do opravdových potíží.
