V Lawndale začínají prázdniny a ne každý ví, jak s nimi naložit. Daria, jejíž původní plán byl prosedět nebo proležet celé léto v pohodlí domova, se ocitá proti své vůli na táboře jako vedoucí spolu se svými kantory, podrážděným profesorem DeMartinem a zženštilým profesorem O'Neillem. Jane odjela na umělecký tábor plný pseudointelektuálních umělců, Tom se snaží pochopit Dariiny mentální pochody, zatímco ona je zmatena jeho zbohatlickou rodinou. Quinn byla donucena zřídit si doučování a zbytek spolužáků se snaží přežít prázdniny pomocí brigád. Film je prequelem mezi 4. a 5. řadou seriálu "Daria" z produkce MTV.
