Jackie Chan a Biao Yuen v jednom z "nejúlítlejších" kung-fu filmů, známém také jako Kung-fu krotitel duchů. Z kláštera šaolinských mnichů byla ukradena vzácná kniha, která obsahuje přesný popis tajného bojového umění zvaného sedm pěstí. Mniši vědí, co může kniha způsobit v nesprávných rukou. Kdo ovládne techniku sedmi pěstí, stává se neporazitelným. Je třeba získat knihu co nejdříve zpět. Vše ale nasvědčuje tomu, že ten, kdo ji ukradl, už umění ovládá.
