Dva kamarádi propadnou kouzlu o bohatství a ukradnou Leprechaunovi jeho milované zlaťáčky. To ale neměli dělat. Jeden z kamarádů je zabit a jen ten druhý vyvázne, skřet byl totiž na poslední chvíli zaklet jakýmsi medailonem. O pár let později umírá i druhý z kamarádů a zlaťáčky se opět dostávají do špatných rukou. Probouzí se i smrtelně nebezpečný skřet, který chce svůj poklad dostat zpátky, a tak vraždění může pokračovat.
