Po mnoho tisíciletí veřila rada Rytířů Jedi, že sithská hrozba byla zažehnána. Ale kdesi daleko na zpustošené planetě, daleko od Courascantu, se rodí nový sithský řád. Temný pán ze Sithu, vysílá svého nového učedníka Dartha Maula na onu planetu, aby tamním Sithům ukázal, jaká je skutečná moc Temné strany Síly. Po vítězství bude Maulova cesta k Temné straně dokončena.
