Dr. Laird ve své laboratoři na venkovské samotě pracuje na pokusech se silným magnetickým polem. Obyvatelé blízké vesnice z toho vůbec nemají radost, poslední dobou se ve vesnici dějí divné věci a všichni si to spojují právě s doktorovými experimenty. Za Dr. Lairdem přijede podivný cizinec, aby ho varoval, že následky jeho pokusů mohou být mnohem vážnější, nežli si dokáže představit. Ale možná už je pozdě…
