Irský film vypráví křehký příběh o něžném obrovi Sweety Barrettovi (Brendan Gleeson), který dostal padáka z cirkusu a nyní hledá, kde by se uchytil. Jak už to ale bývá, brzy se najde partička podvodníků, jež by chtěla využít Sweetyho dobroty a ocelových pěstí, ale když jde do tuhého, nechá ho na holičkách. Režisér Stephen Bradley se za film dočkal dvou nominací za režii – na festivalu v Bruselu a Los Angeles.
