Senátor Kitteredge (Raymond J. Barry) má plnú hlavu starostí a nervy v kýbli: Jeho 16-ročná dcéra Robin (Kerri Green) sa totiž nevie zmestiť do kože, a tak sa ju rozhodne poslať do drsného internátu na juhu krajiny, kde majú mimoriadne prísne a tvrdé pravidlá. Senátorov poverí prevozom svojej dcéry na miesto určenia svojho svojrázneho asistenta Paula (Charlie Sheen) a jeho najlepšieho kamaráta T.S. (Alan Ruck).
