Ishmael (Corey Sevier) se jako harpunář připojí ke skupince lovců draků vedené zkušeným kapitánem Ahabem (Danny Glover). Ten je posedlý myšlenkou pomstít se ulovením velkého bílého draka, který mu v dětství zabil jeho blízké. Ishmael se záhy zamiluje do krásné kormidelnice vozidla drakobijců Rachel (Sofia Pernas), jejíhož otce také zabil velký bílý drak. Děj sleduje strastiplnou cestu po stopách draka a nakonec si Rachel bude muset zvolit mezi cílem cesty a Ishmaelem. Příběh je na motivy slavné knihy Hermana Melvilla "Bílá velryba", odehrává se však v jiném prostředí.
