Retardovaný Bubba je falešně obviněn z napadení malé dívky. Utíká před rozzuřenými vesničany a převléká se za strašáka do pole. Zanedlouho je ale odhalen a zabit. Krátce po pohřbu se začíná zjevovat strašák, který touží po pomstě a nic ho nezastaví.
