První část koprodukční série z šedesátých let o zločinci Fu Manchu, hlavní postavě novel britského autora Saxe Rohmera. Christopher Lee v roli muže s dominantními kníry, jehož touha ovládnout celý svět nezná hranic a nezastaví se ani před smrtí nevinných.Přestože byl inspektor Nayland Smith v Číně očitým svědkem popravy obávaného zločince Fu Manchu, po několika měsících si už není jist, čí hlava že to vlastně byla setnuta. Londýnská vražda provedená dacoitskou šálou, podivný živý sen i záhadné zmizení profesora Mullera, který byl zrovna na stopě odhalení pradávného tibetského tajemství, jež může být snadno zneužito proti lidstvu, vše zapadá do sebe a odkazuje k jediné možné interpretaci – Fu Manchu stále žije!
