Je tady konec světa tak, jak ho známe! Maminka se stává nadpolovičním majitelem planety Země, když ji profesor Hubert Farnsworth prodá celou expediční firmu Planet Express. Maminka Zemi přinese diktaturu a přetvoří ji ve válečnou loď, aby mohla získat celý vesmír! Jediný, kdo může situaci změnit jsou členové posádky Planet Expressu: Fry, Leela a Bender, kteří se vydávají za učitelem profesora Farnswortha, Adoyem, který vlastní stroj času. Na cestě se ale potýkají s mnoha problémy. Dostanou se do minulosti včas, aby mohli profesorovi zabránit v prodání Planet Expressu?
