Tarzanov idylický život sa zmení hneď v prvej epizóde, keď si biznismen Renard Dumont otvorí obchodné stredisko pri ústí rieky. Nové obchodné aktivity najskôr vypudia dobráckych nosorožcov z ich rodného územia a mohutné zvieratá potom napochodujú do výsostného teritória opíc. Tarzan musí rýchle vymyslieť spôsob, ako ochrániť svoju rodinu pred šíriacim sa neporiadkom a chaosom v džungli, ktorý spôsobila šíriaca sa civilizácia…
