Dva roky staré album Elect the Dead vychází v nové symfonické verzi. Serj Tankian ho vytvořil společně s Aucklandským filharmonickým orchestrem. Společně si zahráli v Aucklandské Town Hall na Novém Zélandu.Nekonvenční rockový frontman Serj Tankian je nositelem ceny Grammy a spojení těchto dvou rozdílných světů je pro něj splněný sen. Vystoupení v Aucklandské Town Hall snímalo šest kamer v nejvyšší kvalitě.Tankianovy epické skladby a operní vokál podpořený Aucklandským filharmonickým orchestrem o 70ti členech dostávají nový rozměr a získávají na majestátnosti. Tankian všechny skladby přearanžoval speciálně pro takovéto hudební těleso.
